Welcome!
The
M.E.S.T. is a year round competitive
basketball Skills club for girls and boys ages K - 18. It was founded
in 2007 by Drew Maddux who runs the organization.
It is the goal of the M.E.S.T.
organization to develop basketball skills and to raise the level
of play of both the male and female athlete within a team concept.
This mission is accomplished by using experienced coaches and by
giving the players an opportunity to play with and against quality
competition. In doing this, the M.E.S.T.
organization provides an environment through which each player develops
and maximizes her individual basketball skills within the framework
of a competitive team.
Along with the development
of basketball skills, the organization stresses the development
of the athlete as a young person. Each member learns teamwork, good
sportsmanship, and the importance of hardwork and dedication while
developing character. Finally, the M.E.S.T.
organization provides a forum for quality players to display their
abilities for college scouts and to enhance their scholarship opportunities.
